It's a challenge for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The highest peaks have already been conquered.

This is the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, plus six more T20 titles, and once went 1,294 days undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, those for the achievement hunters, are the only things left for a side that has won it all.

That it took up to Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase over 300, taking back their record for the biggest in the female 50-over format, is, frankly, a testament to the bowling attack that have represented Australia over five decades.

It's challenging for their hitters to hold a record if not provided the opportunity.

Finally, the consequence of Australia allowing 330 runs was leader Alyssa Healy getting a platform to produce her newest gem.

Initially recognized as the young family member of renowned former Aussie wicketkeeper Ian, she first played in 2010 after her country didn't secure either of the 20 or 50-over World Cups conducted earlier and has seen it all through 15 successful years since.

Success in the T20 World Cup came three months after her first appearance and seven world titles have resulted from 10 tries across formats.

The determined wicketkeeper was also there in Derby in 2017 when a semi-final defeat by India briefly halted the run of success.

That loss "drove us to reconsider our benchmarks," Healy said this week.

At the next 50-over World Cup in New Zealand, Healy scored 170 against England in the title decider and was awarded tournament MVP. She guaranteed her country would not fall short again.

The question of whether this recent magnificent innings surpassed that earlier display is debatable.

Many contend the reasoning behind the pressure of a final. Different voices suggest with the challenge that comes when confronting a historic chase and an enthusiastic Indian fanbase of 20,000.

What is certain is this hundred was much more difficult to see coming.

The Christchurch carnage in 2022 came as she was the highest scorer, but this knock followed six innings in India from the beginning of the previous month in which she had failed to pass 30.

"If you've been watching me in training, it's been a challenging time because I feel like I've had no rhythm at all," commented Healy.

"Yet the moment you take the field, your fighting spirit take over and you simply focus on the match."

Healy's fighting spirit has always been her key asset - and an irreplaceable characteristic in replacing legendary former captain Meg Lanning.

She was troubled by India's emerging talent Kranti Gaud in last month's ODI series, fallen to the emerging pace bowler in each encounter, but on this occasion it simply offered Healy's motivation.

A single came off Gaud's first delivery and from that point Healy was in motion.

"The possibility to take the field and lock in a contest with her and just have a bit of fun in that regard, kind of motivated me," stated Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 pitches - her fastest at a World Cup - and her ton in 84 as she flogged anything short, striking 21 boundaries and three sixes.

When she was out the team required another 66 at one run per ball - an achievable target now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I'm happy we have the confidence to do that now," added Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to repeat it but, if we do, we believe we can achieve it."

Those words will be the last rival teams at this championship need to hear.

During the last week a feeling they will triumph from any situation has become more firm - this success succeeding victory over Pakistan by 107-run victory despite being 76-7 at a certain moment.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a match against old rivals England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final place may likely be confirmed.

It was at that stage they exited the prior year's T20 World Cup in an unexpected loss by South Africa - a game Healy was absent due to ruptured tissue in her foot as she guided Australia for the inaugural occasion at a significant event.

So strong is her resolve, she subsequently stated she wanted to have participated with the discomfort.

But while she later admitted those fitness problems have pushed back thoughts of retirement, this World Cup is expected to be her last as captain in one-day cricket and she is yet to win a world championship as captain.

Success in India would take her to the summit of her final mountain.
